user-1540

Hi

I am sorry if I am creating duplicate.

I am not sure is I am missing anything but:

In Programme"Witless" - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08brzh8...des/player

I can see Episode 5 in the available list - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04pc0fd

But it does not download Episode 5 ...

Same problem as /thread-1293.html

Use --future

Thanks a lot.

It turns out that your case isn't related to that bug. Because that series is currently going out on BBC One (didn't notice that before), get_iplayer sees it in the schedule info used to populate the cache, which says that Episode 5 has not yet been broadcast. Even though the iPlayer already makes the episode available, get_iplayer's cache search results override that. Box sets that aren't going out on a linear service don't have that ambiguity. Bottom line: you would always need to use --future to get already-available episodes in advance of broadcast date.
