I've set the web cgi page defaults a million times. but now and then I have to reset the browser or delete cookies - which wipes out my preferences.

e.g. 400 items per pages
exclude - well loads.

Can I filter out programs as well (who want to see cr@p in the attic, bargin basement hunt or sadenders etc etc)?

Is there a way to hard code then? Maybe a config file the cgi script could look up?

Under search options
exclude <string>
excludecategory <string>
excludechannel <string>
should help.

Are you talking about the perl get_iplayer PVR or the web interface get_iplayer.cgi?
