How do I clear the get_iplayer cookies? (I'm running Windows XP.)

(I have a suspicion that cookies are used to mark a client as out-of-country, even if subsequently an in-country VPN is used. Don't have time to prove it, but a quick one-shot test seemed to show this.)

This forum does not support the use of a VPN when outside of the UK in order to obtain BBC content. Such use is a breach of the BBC's terms.

If you are using a VPN within the UK (for privacy reasons perhaps) and are facing this problem, please detail the exact errors you have encountered and the testing procedure that lead you to believe cookies were being used.
